Why POD uploads get rejected
POD platforms print at a fixed physical size, so the only thing that matters is pixel dimensions relative to that size. A 1000 x 1000 file is plenty for a mug and nowhere near enough for a 14-inch shirt print — the same file passes on one product and fails on another.
The second common rejection is transparency. Platforms check the alpha channel, not how the file looks. A design flattened onto white will be flagged even though it appears fine in your image viewer.
Both are file preparation problems, not design problems. Which is why they're fixable once, cheaply, without touching the design itself.
